STEP 1: Eligibility Criteria for Admission

a. Citizenship:  must be Bangladeshi citizen
b. Academic Background:
                    Must pass SSC and HSC or equivalent exams in the Science Group.
                   Combined GPA in both exams: GPA 9 out of 10
c. Subject:                 
                    SSC/‘O’ Level/Equivalent: Must pass in Science.
                    HSC/‘A’ Level/Equivalent: Must include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Minimum GPA in Biology: 4.00.

                                           > Backward Community Quota:
                                                                     Combined SSC and HSC GPA: At least 8.00.
                                                                     Minimum GPA per exam: 3.50.  GPA in Biology: 3.50.

         d. Timeframe for Educational Qualifications: The candidate must pass HSC or equivalent in the current academic year or the previous                 year. SSC or equivalent must be completed within the last three academic years.
             Example: For the 2024-25 academic session, applicants must: Pass HSC/‘A’ Level in 2023 or 2024. Pass SSC/‘O’ Level in 2021 or later.

Step 2: National Admission Test 

Only candidates who pass the written admission test will be included in the national merit list for both government and private dental institutions. Special quotas will be mentioned as applicable. Candidates scoring below 40 marks will not be eligible for admission.

Seats are filled based on merit and preference according to the number approved on the date of the admission notice.

Step 3: Application to private dental College

Online Reapplication for Private Institutions: Successful candidates in the national merit list for private institutions must reapply online, specifying their preferences for private medical/dental colleges. Their admission will be based on merit and preferences.

Selected candidates will be notified via SMS about their institution allocation. They must confirm their willingness to join within 5 days. If seats remain vacant, waiting list candidates will be selected and notified accordingly. A candidate can migrate to another institution if a seat becomes available.

Step 4: Certificate Submission

Documents to be submitted:
     a. SSC Certificate/Marksheet
     b. HSC Certificate/Marksheet
     c. Printed Document of the National Admission Test Result
