- Recognition of the College
The Bnagladesh Dental College (BDC) is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and affiliated with Universily of Dhaka in 1997.
Bangladesh Dental College (BDC), BMC, UAMC, are three sister concern of “The Bangladesh Medical Studies & Research Insitute (BMSRI)”. The BMSRI introduced the first private medical education institute in Bangladesh which is known as Bangladesh Medical College (BMC).
- College Accommodation
The College and the attached Hospital are accommodated in two 6 storied buildings.
The new building of the Hospital, called the Community Welfare and Health Care Centre (CWHCC), is built to international standards. It has an excellent Outpatient Department in addition to Inpatient facilities. The College also has a modern Accident and Emergency Management Department and a referral diagnostic laboratory.
- Class Rooms
There are 4 large fully air conditioned class rooms for lectures. In addition, there are departmental tuforial rooms attached with the respective departments. The Anatomy Dissection Hall is fully air conditioned. The laboratories of various departments like science of Dental Materials, Pathology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology etc are well equipped & decorated.

Each class is provided with mulimedia sem.
- Library
The College has a modem fully air conditioned library located on the first floor. The library has a collection of over 6000 books. The library has accommodation for seating 100 students and 25 teachers at any given time. For students use, there are sufficient number of computers in the library
